WebQuest

I am a true believer that WebQuests should be implemented into the classroom. It allows a teacher to be very creative in lesson planning.  The students are learning in cooperative learning environments, while interacting with the actual use of technology.  Students easily become bored and through WebQuests, it offers them alternatives than traditional methods of learning.  WebQuests promote social skills, critical thinking skills, and cooperative learning and creates an exciting learning environment. I believe that the work created to display a WebQuest is definitely worth it, the final product is amazing.  Students will be interacting with the technology and improving their skills at the same time.  Please try Webquests in your classroom, you will not be disappointed with how it gets the students to be actively engaged.  I would have never believed that I would have been able to create one of these, but I did and very proud of it.
