Concept maps are so exciting and pleasing to develop! I found concept maps to be very effective, in visually expressing content material, which allows students to get a better grasp on ideas. They allow for quick interpretation of the concepts which need to be comprehended. Concept maps are excellent assessment tools for teachers to gain a better understanding of students' comprehension of the content. I created my own concept map using the subject content of the three branches of U.S. government, and it effectively displayed the information in a way that was visually more comprehensible.
